Update, then something a little weird-a little fun

The big news of the day is the stork is on its way for families logged in by 6/28/05. So I guess I should be *happy* that the CCAA referral 9 business days this month versus the 5 days last month It is an increase after all. Just the same I'm saving my happy dance for the day they start referring a month at a time again.

By the way, here's a huge Hip Hip Hurrah! and Whew! It's about darn time for all the families included in this batch. Please make sure to stop by and tell me your 12 month wait was worth every minute and then some.

I went to Bright Outlooks which I read about on the Rumor Queen site and tried the referral calculator just for fun. Oh yuck, so not fun at all. I came up with a referral date of March 2007!!! Maybe I was just in a pessimistic mood putting in what I think the projected referral numbers will be.

Announcing the newest feature of my blog:

HEAR ME WHINE!!!

This is going to be the longest second trimester ever....I'm bloated...the stinking bureaucratic doctors have moved my due date again..... Hmmmm....I think I'm craving Taco Bell, chocolate ice cream, Cheetos, and dill pickles....in that order.....will someone please rub my aching mouse clicking fingers? Can you believe it's time for us to update the homestudy again already? MORE PAPERWORK....ARRRRGGGGGGHHH!!!!

On the other side of fun, there is weird. I just got this from my friend Sushi (a.k.a. Sue...but she humors me and let's me call her that). It's most fun if you laugh at someone else trying it.

How Smart is Your Right Foot?
This is so funny that it will boggle you mind. And you will keep trying it at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot. But you can't!!! First, while sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it. Now, while doing this, draw the number 6 in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction!!! I told you so and there is nothing you can do about it.

And just so you know how incredibly dull life is without children... here's what I just spent 15 minutes doing .

hahah Shannon you crack me! You're probably still trying to figure out how to get your foot to go the right way! haha I still am and laughing at myself all the while. haha :)
On another note, I am so sorry this adoption process is going so slow. I check your blog everyday with hopes of good news. I know in return for your endless wait that Kayla will be the biggest blessing you will have ever received!!
love ya! and lets do lunch (or dinner)
Sue
