Sound the alarm....

Alert...Alert...Alert...
This is not a test.
This is an actual GOOD Rumor
.

A good rumor has been circulating today that an agency not known for blowing smoke has told a Late Oct 05 LID couple to expect their referral in December. This could indicate the long hoped for speedup is about to occur.

Do you believe in miracles?

For those following this epic baby chase, if you believe, this means you could catch a glimpse of Kayla as early as January 2007 and then see the real, bouncy bundle as soon as March. I repeat...Do you believe in miracles?

Disclaimer: Rumors are just rumors. As such, this rumor should not be relied on for anything other than hope and a good night's sleep.

Eleven down...??? more to go

Hmmm...we've hit ELEVEN months since LID today. And, in case you had any doubt that I am totally ready for kids (or absolutely bonkers), I just spent the better part of an hour playing on the PBS Sesame Street site. Little trip down memory lane with the Cookie Monster and the Count. I think Baby Bear was after my time, but his little game was fun too.

Since I was strolling down memory lane I decided to check out some of the old classic cartoons I watched as a kid...Smurfs (warning, stay away from the Lost Episode if you run across it...not so Smurfy), Garfield, Heathcliff, etc. Then I ran across this article on 80s cartoons, which is kinda funny...well, it's probably only funny if you grew up in the 80s and spent Saturday mornings glued to the tube with your bowl of Cheerios. Even then its only a smirk kind of funny, not really haha funny. This little post is going way off track. I think I just need to go to bed now and start working on month twelve.

Wish us luck...we're somewhere between 4 months until referral or 8 months from a meltdown.

Make a right turn here...on Patience

Yes, I do believe in God's timing. Looking back over my life, I can see where certain circumstances, both good and bad, happened for a reason. However, it has never (never ever) been the case that I have understood the "timing" until much later. So after a conversation with my mom and in honor of Sunday School memory verses...I Googled bible verses about God's perfect timing. Why use a concordance anymore? Here's my verse for this week.

If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!

Perfect Song

I heard this song on the radio a few time this week and it has stuck with me. These days we're just feeling tired, numb, and frustrated. I have no idea if we've even passed the halfway point yet. I'm just ready for this wait to be over.

Okay, quit checking the volume...I could not find a site to really hook you up with the music, so you've just got to trust me that it is a really touching song. Or, try to find it on MusicMatch or some other radio site online.
